So, let the memes begin: Federico Sceriffo’s Ferrari 599 just went off course in the opening Formula Drift event in Long Beach and caught on fire during its first competition tandem battle.

On the bright side, the driver looks unharmed, so that’s the most important thing. In all seriousness, this sucks—I was happy to see a really unique new car in the series. Hopefully the team can bounce back for another event later on.

I’m so gutted for him. First the crash with Chelsea then the fire. Hope the team can recover from this and perform well in Atlanta
